This policy explains how Haka Play Limited ("we", "us") collects, uses, stores, and shares personal information when you use Haka Play (the "Service"). We comply with the Privacy Act 2020 (NZ) and the Information Privacy Principles.
Information we collect
- Account details: username, email, password hash, age/eligibility confirmations, support messages.
- Gameplay data: in-game activity, virtual currency balance, session history, rewards, fraud/abuse signals.
- Device & analytics: IP address, device identifiers, browser/app version, approximate location (from IP), logs, cookies/SDK events.
- Payments (if you buy virtual items): transaction identifiers, purchase history, billing country; payment card details are handled by our payment providers, not stored by us.
How we use information (and our basis)
- Provide and operate the Service, authenticate accounts (necessary to provide the Service / contract).
- Customer support and communications (contract and legitimate business purposes).
- Safety, fraud prevention, enforcing rules, and protecting users and the platform (legitimate business purposes).
- Analytics to improve features and performance (legitimate business purposes; where required, we rely on consent for non-essential cookies/SDKs).
- Processing purchases, refunds, and chargeback management (contract and legal obligations).
- Comply with law and respond to lawful requests (legal obligations).
